DOT Updates Environmental Justice Order 5610.2(a) to Promote Environmental Justice in Minority and Low-Income Populations

The Department of Transportation is updating its Environmental Justice Order 5610.2(a) to ensure that its programs, policies, and activities consider the environmental justice principles of minority and low-income populations, as mandated by the original order published on April 15, 1997.
