Pipeline Safety: Notice of Public Workshop to Discuss Implementing Incorporation by Reference Requirements of Section 24 of the Pipeline Safety, Regulatory Certainty, and Job Creation Act of 2011

The Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) will hold a public workshop to discuss the implementation of Section 24 of the Pipeline Safety, Regulatory Certainty, and Job Creation Act of 2011, which requires the agency to no longer incorporate voluntary consensus standards by reference into its regulations unless they are made available for free on the internet. Interested persons can submit written and oral comments and participate in discussions until January 2013.
