FAA to Cancel TSO-C65a for Airborne Doppler Radar Equipment

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is planning to cancel the Technical Standard Order (TSO)-C65a, which governs Airborne Doppler Radar Ground Speed and/or Drift Angle Measuring Equipment for commercial aircraft. This cancellation will prevent new design and production approvals for TSO-C65a, but existing TSO authorization will still allow for current production of articles with this certification.
