USDA Relaxes Kiwifruit Minimum Grade Requirement
The US Department of Agriculture has adopted a new rule allowing for a higher tolerance of misshapen kiwifruit, from 7% to 16%, in an effort to reduce costs and streamline the packing process for kiwifruit grown in California and imported into the US.
