U.S. Forest Service Requests Proposals for Wood Energy Funding Opportunities

The U.S. Forest Service is seeking proposals for two separate funding opportunities, the 2014 Statewide Wood Energy Teams Cooperative Agreement and the 2014 Hazardous Fuel Wood to Energy Grant, to support the expansion of wood energy use in the United States. These programs aim to promote the use of woody biomass from National Forest System lands and enhance access to other USDA Rural Development programs.
