U.S. Forest Service to Revise Land Management Plan for Francis Marion National Forest

The U.S. Forest Service is preparing a revised land management plan for Francis Marion National Forest in South Carolina, following a preliminary need to update the existing plan, and will also conduct an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the revised plan, which is required by the National Forest Management Act (NFMA).
