Mendocino National Forest Proposes Habitat Protection and Enhancement Project in California

The Upper Lake Ranger District of the Mendocino National Forest plans to conduct fuels reduction and habitat enhancement treatments on approximately 7,830 acres in the Pine Mountain vicinity, with a focus on protecting late-successional species and their habitats, including the Northern Spotted Owl Critical Habitat.
