Cotton Board Rules and Regulations: Adjusting Supplemental Assessment on Imports (2014 Amendment)

The Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) is publishing a direct final rule to adjust the value assigned to imported cotton for calculating supplemental assessments collected for the Cotton Research and Promotion Program. The rule aims to align the value of imported cotton with that of domestically produced cotton, as mandated by statute and regulation.
