US Department of Agriculture Extends Exemption for Certain Potatoes Grown in Washington

The US Department of Agriculture has adopted a rule to temporarily exempt yellow fleshed and white skin potatoes from certain quality and inspection requirements, aiming to reduce industry expenses and increase producer and handler returns, through the 2014-2015 and subsequent fiscal periods.
