Forest Service to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Kootenai National Forest Project

The US Forest Service will release an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to assess the environmental impacts of various activities in the Lower Yaak, O'Brien, and Sheep planning subunits of the Kootenai National Forest in Montana, including road access to private timber lands and prescribed burning.
