USDA Adopts Final Rule Decreasing California Date Assessment Rate

The US Department of Agriculture has finalized a rule reducing the assessment rate for California dates from $0.40 to $0.20 per hundredweight, effective for the 2014-15 crop year and subsequent years, due to a decrease in the California Date Administrative Committee's budgeted expenses.
