USDA Proposes Expansion of Organic Product Exemption from Commodity Promotion Assessments

The USDA proposes to expand the exemption of organic products from assessments under the Commodity Promotion Law, allowing all 'organic' and '100 percent organic' products certified under the National Organic Program to be exempt from paying assessments for commodity promotion activities.
