U.S. Department of Energy Proposes New Test Procedure for Television Sets

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing a new test procedure for television sets, following the repeal of the prior Federal test procedure in 2009 due to petitions from the California Energy Commission and the Consumer Electronics Association, in response to the Federal Communications Commission's transition to digital broadcast transmissions.
