Nine Wind Energy Companies Receive Exempt Wholesale Generator Status from FERC
Nine wind energy companies, including Rocky Ridge Wind Project, LLC, have been granted Exempt Wholesale Generator (EWG) status by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), allowing them to sell electricity directly to utilities without needing to purchase power from the grid.
