Notice of Determinations; Culturally Significant Objects Being Imported for Exhibition-Determinations: “Fashioning an Empire: Safavid Textiles From the Museum of Islamic Art, Doha” Exhibition

The U.S. government has made determinations regarding the cultural significance of certain objects being imported for an upcoming exhibition at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. The exhibition, titled "Fashioning an Empire: Safavid Textiles from the Museum of Islamic Art, Doha", will feature objects from abroad, and the government has deemed their temporary display in the U.S. to be in the national interest.
