TTB Proposes Changes to Allow Use of American Viticultural Area Names on Wine Labels

The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau is proposing to relax its regulations to permit the use of American viticultural area names as labels of origin on wines that are fully finished in a neighboring state, aiming to provide greater flexibility in wine production and labeling while ensuring consumers have accurate information about the wines they buy.
