OSHA Proposes Extension of Crane Operator Certification Requirement

The Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health (ACCSH) will hold a teleconference meeting on June 20, 2017, to consider a proposed rule that would extend the enforcement date for OSHA's crane operator certification requirement until November 10, 2018, and also extend the existing employer duty to ensure crane operators are trained and competent to operate equipment safely for the same period.
