National Marine Fisheries Service Issues Final Rule to Revise Critical Habitat Designation for Endangered Leatherback Sea Turtle

The National Marine Fisheries Service has finalized a rule to expand the critical habitat for the endangered leatherback sea turtle, adding approximately 41,914 square miles of marine habitat in the Pacific Ocean, from California to Oregon, to protect the species from extinction.
