NMFS Solicits Public Comment on Exempted Fishing Permit Application for Georges Bank Closure Area

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is seeking public input on an application to exempt up to three commercial fishing vessels from the Atlantic surfclam and ocean quahog Georges Bank Closure Area, allowing for continued research and sample collection to gather more data on toxin levels.
