US Department of Commerce Approves Revised Secure Hash Standard (SHS) FIPS Publication 180-4

The US Secretary of Commerce has approved the revised Secure Hash Standard (SHS), FIPS Publication 180-4, which updates the previous version, FIPS 180-3, by adding two new secure hash algorithms and removing a restriction on padding.
