US Army Announces Record of Decision for Conversion of 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment to Stryker Brigade Combat Team at Fort Hood

The US Department of the Army has made a Record of Decision (ROD) to convert the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment (3rd ACR) at Fort Hood, Texas, into a Stryker Brigade Combat Team (SBCT), with the conversion expected to be completed by Fiscal Year 2014.
