Office of Special Education Programs Extends Project Period and Waives Funding Rules for National Center on Educational Outcomes at the University of Minnesota

The US Department of Education has granted a one-year extension to the National Center on Educational Outcomes at the University of Minnesota, allowing it to continue receiving federal funding from October 1, 2010, through September 30, 2011, and waiving rules that typically limit project periods to five years and require additional funding for extensions.
