U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to Prepare Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement for Mississippi Barrier Island Restoration

The Mobile District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers plans to prepare a Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (DSEIS) to address the potential environmental impacts of restoring the Mississippi barrier islands, which were severely damaged by hurricanes in 2005, as part of the Mississippi Coastal Improvements Program (MsCIP).
