DoD Issues Final Rule on Balance of Payments Program Exemption for Commercial IT-Construction Materials

The US Department of Defense (DoD) has issued a final rule to exempt commercial information technology from the Balance of Payments Program, allowing for the exclusion of construction materials from this program. This exemption is part of the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and aims to simplify the acquisition process for the DoD.
