Copyright Office to Study Federal Protection of Pre-1972 Sound Recordings

The Copyright Office is seeking public comments on a proposal to bring sound recordings created before February 15, 1972, under federal copyright protection, which could impact preservation, public access, and the economic interests of rights holders.
