HUD Solicits Feedback on RESPA Guidance for Warehouse Lending and Loan Funding Mechanisms

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is seeking input from industry stakeholders and consumer groups on potential changes in warehouse lending and other financing mechanisms used to fund federally related mortgage loans, with the goal of determining whether additional guidance is needed under the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA).
