CMS Adds New Subpart to Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage Premium Regulations

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) is introducing a new subpart to its regulations, which outlines the rules for determining the income-related monthly adjustment amount for Medicare prescription drug coverage premiums. The new subpart implements changes made to the Social Security Act by the Affordable Care Act and will go into effect on January 1, 2011.
