DoD Issues Final Rule to Waive Trade Agreements Act Prohibition on Acquisitions from South Caucasus/Central and South Asian States

The US Department of Defense is issuing a final rule to amend the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement to allow acquisitions from nine South Caucasus/Central and South Asian states, exempting them from a provision that prohibits purchases from nondesignated countries, in support of operations in Afghanistan.
