U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Submits Information Collection for OMB Review

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has submitted a proposal for the collection of information under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 for review by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). The NRC is seeking public comment on the proposal, which involves the licensing requirements for the independent storage of spent nuclear fuel, high-level radioactive waste, and reactor-related greater than Class C waste.
