NHTSA Receives Petition for Importation of Nonconforming 2006 Land Rover Range Rover MPVs

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has accepted a petition to allow the importation of left-hand drive 2006 Land Rover Range Rover multi-purpose passenger vehicles manufactured before September 1, 2006, for sale in the UK and other foreign markets, as they are substantially similar to US-certified vehicles and can be modified to meet safety standards.
