DOD, GSA, and NASA Issue Final Rule to Update FAR Accounting References

The Department of Defense (DoD), General Services Administration (GSA), and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) have issued a final rule to update the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to align with the Financial Accounting Standards Board's (FASB) Accounting Standards Codification of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), effective immediately.
