FCC Takes Action to Reclaim High-Cost Universal Service Support

The Federal Communications Commission is changing its rules to prevent competitive eligible telecommunications carriers from surrendering high-cost universal service support when they relinquish their ETC status in a particular state, reducing the overall cap on support for competitive ETCs.
