Facilitating the Deployment of Text-to-911 and Other Next Generation 911 Applications; Framework for Next Generation 911 Deployment

The US Commission is proposing a framework to speed up the development and deployment of Next Generation 911 (NG911) technology, enabling text, photos, and data to be sent to emergency services, and seeking public comment on the transition to this new system.
