FDA Requests Public Comment on New Food Safety Evaluation Procedures

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is seeking public input on its proposed procedures for evaluating the safety of new non-pesticidal proteins produced by genetically modified plant varieties intended for human consumption, as outlined in a new form and guidance document.
