DEA Proposes Rule to Expand Enforcement of Diversion Control Program

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is proposing a rule to enhance the enforcement component of the Diversion Control Program (DCP) using funds from the Diversion Control Fee Account (DCFA), building on the 1996 Rule that outlined six types of investigations involving the diversion of controlled substances.
