DEA Removes Naldemedine From Controlled Substances Schedule

The Drug Enforcement Administration has removed naldemedine, a substance derived from opium alkaloids, from the schedules of the Controlled Substances Act, eliminating regulatory controls and sanctions for handling or proposing to handle the substance.
