Department of State Adopts Inflation-Adjusted Civil Monetary Penalties

The Department of State has issued a final rule to update civil monetary penalties (CMPs) for its regulatory provisions, adjusting the amounts based on the 2019 Office of Management and Budget guidance, effective December 2020.
