Federal Highway Administration and Indiana Department of Transportation to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Mid-States Corridor Project

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) are issuing a Notice of Intent to prepare a Tier 2 Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for Section 2 of the Mid-States Corridor Project, a new highway connection between Interstate 64 and State Road 56 in Dubois County, Indiana, following the completion of a Tier 1 Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) and Record of Decision (ROD) in September 2023.
