Guidelines for Proposals to Use DNA Samples from National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) and Cost Schedule

The National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) is making available DNA samples from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) for genetic analyses, following guidelines for proposals to use these samples. The samples were collected from approximately 7,157 participants in Phase II of NHANES III (1991-1994), 7,900 participants in NHANES 1999-2002, and 4,621 participants in NHANES 2007-2008.
