U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to Prepare Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement for Louisiana Coastal Area Restoration Project

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, in collaboration with the Louisiana Office of Coastal Protection and Restoration, plans to prepare a supplemental environmental impact statement for the Louisiana Coastal Area restoration project, which aims to stabilize the land bridge between Caillou Lake and the Gulf of Mexico, building on the findings of the 2004 Ecosystem Restoration Study and following the Record of Decision signed in 2005.
