NMFS Seeks Comments on IHA Proposal for U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and U.S. Marine Corps Operations at Blount Island Facility

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is seeking public comments on a proposal to issue an Incidental Harassment Authorization (IHA) to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE) and U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) for blasting and dredging operations at the U.S. Marine Corps Slipway at the Blount Island Facility in Duval County, Florida. The authorization would allow for the incidental harassment of marine mammals during these activities.
