HUD Solicits Public Comments on Proposed Rule for Assignment of Multifamily Mortgages

The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is seeking public input on a proposed rule requiring mortgagees of HUD-insured multi-family loans to submit legal documents when assigning mortgages to HUD, in order to receive full insurance benefits.
