Atlantic Shark Identification Workshops and Protected Species Safe Handling, Release, and Identification Workshops

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is offering free workshops in 2009 and 2010 to educate fishermen and shark dealers on Atlantic shark identification and protected species handling, release, and identification. These workshops are mandatory for certain groups to meet regulatory requirements and maintain valid permits.
