Gila National Forest to Implement Travel Management Rule

The Gila National Forest in New Mexico will prepare an Environmental Impact Statement to evaluate a proposed action that would implement the agency's Travel Management Rule, eliminating cross country travel by motorized vehicle and designating roads, trails, and areas open for motorized vehicle use, while exempting certain uses such as emergency response and law enforcement.
