National Science Foundation Receives Permit Application for Antarctic Expedition Vessel

The National Science Foundation has received a waste management permit application for the Expedition Vessel Kapitan Khlebnikov, which will operate in Antarctica for the 2009-2010 season and two subsequent austral summers, in accordance with the Antarctic Conservation Act of 1978.
