Department of the Army Announces Availability of Draft Environmental Impact Statement for Fort Lewis and Yakima Training Center

The Department of the Army has released a draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) analyzing the environmental and socioeconomic impacts of implementing the 'Grow the Army' Programmatic EIS and other realignment initiatives at Fort Lewis and the Yakima Training Center, which could lead to the stationing of approximately 4,700 additional Soldiers.
