Patriot Day and National Day of Service and Remembrance Observed on September 11, 2009

The United States government designated September 11, 2009, as Patriot Day and National Day of Service and Remembrance, a day to honor the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks and encourage national service and remembrance.
