Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology Publishes HIT Standards Committee Recommendations

The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology has published the HIT Standards Committee's recommendations for electronic health information exchange, inviting public input on the proposals, which were developed in accordance with the Federal Health IT Strategic Plan and the HITECH Act.
