USDA Adopts New Regulatory Period for Onions Grown in South Texas

The USDA has finalized a rule extending the period during which minimum grade, size, quality, and maturity requirements for onions grown in South Texas under Marketing Order No. 959 are in effect, from March 1 through June 4, to enable producers and handlers to compete more effectively in the marketplace.
