TSA to Screen 100% of Air Cargo by August 3, 2010, Under New Rule

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will establish a system to screen 100% of air cargo transported on passenger aircraft by August 3, 2010, in accordance with the 9/11 Commission Act. The new rule requires passenger aircraft operators to screen cargo using TSA-approved methods or have certified cargo screening facilities do so.
